Colleges of technology are institutions of higher learning that allow students to have an integrated educational experience with a 5-year regular education program, as students spend a period of 7 years until they complete their major program.
For the regular education program at the National Institute of Technology (KOSEN), Kure College, there are 4 departments, namely, the Mechanical Engineering Department, the Electrical Information Engineering Program, the Environmental Urban Engineering Department, and the Architectural Department.
Additionally, as part of its major program, the college offers a Project Design Engineering Major.
The college accepts international students, such as nationally-sponsored foreign international students and international students dispatched by foreign governments, etc., and its school dormitory features the everyday amenities necessary for international students, such as a dedicated cafeteria and shower rooms.
