Employment Consultation Centers

In addition to the career centers (employment sections) at universities and the Hiroshima Support Center for International Students, consultation centers related to employment can also be found at the New Graduate Support HelloWork.
International students can individually consult with expert staff members on such things as how to proceed with their career placement and job search activities, as well as on concerns they may have.

Career Centers at Universities, Etc.

At the career centers (also called employment departments or employment centers, etc.) at universities, etc., visitors can find staff members that possess specialized qualifications, such as that of career consultant, etc., and at some universities, there are also consultation corners staffed by experts.
We suggest that you first consult with the career center at your closest university, etc.

Hiroshima Support Center for International Students “Job Search Activities Individual Consultant”

A dedicated consultant will kindly support you by consulting with you on a variety of matters related to the job search activities for international students within the prefecture, through individual consultations, e-mails, and phone calls, etc.

Conducted through Individual consultations, online teleconferencing, and e-mails, etc.
Applicable participants International students enrolled in a member university of the Hiroshima Support Center for International Students, and who are currently engaged in job search activities.
Number of times conducted There are no limits on how many times consultation can be conducted.

  • How to proceed with job search activities
  • How to conduct research on companies and collect information
  • How to fill out entry sheets and application forms, etc.
  • Employment test-taking strategies (interview and written)
  • Miscellaneous, general career placement consultations

The person applying for consultation will be coordinated with to decide on a consultation date and consultation location.
