With the aim of “fostering the growth of talented individuals who are able to engage in independent thinking, take action, and who have the practical abilities to succeed in their local communities,” students are allowed to choose “school-wide common general education subjects” that they engage in during their 4-year bachelor’s degree program, and in coordination with such subjects, they are also systematically allowed to choose “specialized academic subjects,” thereby enabling the university to provide them with a well-balanced academic experience.
For everything from academic orientation to guidance for senior thesis writing, this university places an emphasis on using small-class sizes and employing a methodical approach in implementing its education.
