Established in 1975 as a comprehensive university composed of 5 faculties and 14 departments, as well as 4 graduate schools, Fukuyama University possesses an expansive campus that is rich in greenery, on which its 34 educational and research buildings are located.
As its educational principle, it aims to provide a “holistic education” to mold students with a harmonious human character that is based on a rich sense of humanity, and it strives to foster the growth of talented individuals gifted with cultural refinement and specialized knowledge that is broad in scope, as well as an abundant wealth of humanity.
