Who Are the Hiroshima Study Abroad Ambassadors?
International students studying in Hiroshima assume the roles of “Hiroshima Study Abroad Ambassadors,” and make use of social media and websites to share with the world the charm and appeal of Hiroshima, as well as information on studying abroad.
Membership applications are accepted from the public every year.

The purpose and role of Hiroshima Study Abroad Ambassadors
In order to increase the number of international students studying abroad in Hiroshima, ambassadors will utilize social media and engage in various activities to widely share the "appeal of studying abroad in Hiroshima" that can be experienced in the vibrant study abroad environment found in Hiroshima Prefecture and at the universities and other institutions at which such international students are studying.
Activity Details
- Ambassadors will participate in volunteer activities in the local community and engage in efforts to examine issues faced by the local community in order to work toward a solution while discovering and promoting the appealing features of this region.
- Ambassadors will participate in various events while taking a leadership role in guiding international students during activities held by the Hiroshima Support Center for International Students, and will help in widely publicizing the efforts of fellow Hiroshima Study Abroad Ambassadors and those of the Center by utilizing social media to update the public on their activities and on various interactions between international students and the people of the local community.
