On October 3rd (Sat), we will host the International Student Exchange Event – Rice Harvesting!

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

皆さん「稲刈（いねか）り」を体験したことはありますか？
このイベントでは，日本人学生と留学生と一緒に，実際の田んぼで「稲刈り」の体験をします。

場所は，西条にある田んぼです。このイベントでは「餅つき」体験もできます！

めったにできない日本での体験に挑戦してみませんか？

新しい友だちも作れますよ！皆さんの参加をお待ちしています！

Have you tried rice harvesting before?

At this event, you will harvest rice at a real rice field with Japanese and international students!

The event will be held at rice fields in Saijo. You will also get to try pounding mochi at this event!

Want to try these rare Japanese experiences?

It will be an opportunity to make new friends too! We are looking forward to your participation!

  Meeting place

●場　所　　東広島市　西条　吉行集会所

    Location ：Higashi-Hiroshima City, Saijo, Yoshiyuki Community Center

●参加費　　７００円（昼食代として）

    Participation fee：700yen (For lunch)

●対象者　　留学生と日本人学生

●定員　　　２０名（応募者が多い場合は抽選）

   Capacity ：20 people (If the number of applicants exceeds this,  participants will be chosen by lottery)

スケジュールSchedule

7：50　　広島駅集合/Meet at Hiroshima station

8：40　　西条駅集合/Meet at Saijo station

9：00　　オリエンテーション・交流ゲーム/Orientation, icebreaking game

10：00　 稲（いね）かり＆餅（もち）つき　※半分に分かれてやります/Rice harvesting and mochi pounding ※The time will be split half and half

11：30　昼食/Lunchtime

13：00　片付け・アンケート・集合写真Cleanup, survey, group photo

13：15　バス出発/Bus departs

13：30　西条駅　到着/Arrive at Saijo station

14：15　広島駅　到着/Arrive at Hiroshima station

＜持ってくるもの/What to bring＞　
・タオル　・飲み物　・マスク・（着替え）※必要に応じて

Towel, beverage, mask, change of clothes ※As needed

＜服装/Clothing＞
・長そでの洋服・長ズボン・スニーカー・帽子
※肌が出ないような洋服で来てください　
（稲で肌がこすれたり，虫に刺されたりしないためです）

Long sleeved shirt, long pants, sneakers, hat

※Please wear clothing that covers your skin

(So that your skin won’t get scratched by the rice plants or bitten by bugs)
